Morocco, Up to Tizi n'Tacheddirt and exploring Adrar Angour (3,616m)
After illness rest at Tacheddirt

Feeling good
After the previous days rest I was feeling much better and food seemed to be staying inside me so I could resume my ascent to Tizi n'Tacheddirt
Previous days rest place

One fork at the start of the path is beside the road where a stream crosses. This was an ideal spot to fill up with water for the day
Path directly from Tacheddirt
Looking down to Tacheddirt
In order to save weight I hid my tent and camping equipment. Tizi n'Tacheddirt is popular so I chose a large rock part way up the hill well out of sight. It was under a sheltered area of the rock so would be protected from the weather

Way up
The route I chose contoured around and then descended slightly to cross a stream and up along a broad spur covered in small rocks

Chat
The spur had some grass growing between the rocks and a shepherd was grazing his goats. I went over and had a chat

Scramble up
The final part of the route was up a section of easy scrambling

The actual summit is an open flat area

Return route
Rather than go back the way I'd ascended I went down the other spur of the area to the south of Adrar Angour and then weaved a line down to the col

I could see the shepherd I met earlier sitting lower down on a rock admiring the view. It was nice to think he still enjoyed his surroundings even though he probably spent most days in the same hills

Finding equipment
I then had to retrieve my camping equipment that I had hidden earlier in the day. It should be easy to find as it was under the shelter of a huge rock

Looking down I had a good view and could easily see a large rock. Unfortunately I could see several other large rocks

Camp
After looking behind several rocks I found the right one and loaded my rucksack with the camping equipment

The evening weather was great so I put the tent up at Tizi n'Tacheddirt and wandered around taking photographs
